The Magic Of Musicals

On the 18th June, 2022, the Hornchurch "Can't" Sing Choir performed their summer programme, accompanied by a superb band of professional musicians, at Holy Cross Church to a packed venue of over 160 people (there was standing room only, in the end!). There was also an smaller virtual audience viewing on Zoom. The audience were so appreciative and supportive which added to the light-hearted, warm and uplifting atmosphere of the afternoon concert.

Congratulations to all who were singing and many thanks to all who came to support us!

It's Beginning To Look Alot Like Christmas!

The first concert following the suspension of the Hornchurch "Can't" Sing Choir (due to the effects of the global pandemic), took place on Wednesday 15th December 2021 was a resounding success. Performing to a live audience of around 100 and a virtual audience of 20, the HCSC singers sang with heart and joy. Everyone who came expressed their pleasure and appreciation for an excellent Christmas Concert. You can view our performance by clicking the button underneath our concert poster on the right.

"Christmas Wishes"

Thank you to all those who came along to our main concert on 12th December and to our Dress Rehearsal. It was great to see you and be supported so well by you. Thanks to Cllr Burton for coming along to see us and for his kind words at the end; also to our wonderful actors, Neil Gray and Juliet Ferrar, who did an amazing job. It is great to know we raised around £750 for our chosen charity, "Singing For The Brain".

Congratulations to the "Can't" Sing Choir who produced an excellent performance of "Global Rounds and Folksongs" to an audience of between 150 to 170. Everyone had a lovely time and the choir received many positive and encouraging comments.  There were many smiles and moments of joyful pride evident!

Very pleased to announce we've raised around £1200 from the concert sales.
